Albuquerque 2012
21st Annual Conference

Under the conference themes "Frontiers in World History" and "Indigenous Peoples in World History, the 2012 Annual WHA Conference was held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from June 27 to June 30, 2012. Hosted by Albuquerque High School, Albuquerque proved to be a fantastic city with its charming Old Town, the Sandia Mountains as a backdrop to the city, a mild climate, the National Hispanic Cultural Center, and the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center all within a few minutes drive of the conference site. The area has a huge variety of natural, cultural, recreational, and culinary opportunities, one conference attendees were able to enjoy. A film series, poster session, "Meet the author" sessions, and a longer conference were some of the new features of this conference. A special thanks to all those who made this conference a great success at a great venue.
