Resources for Graduate Students
WHA is committed to Graduate Students and has a Graduate Student Committee to foster its needs. Special panel sessions are typically devoted to graduate student concerns, and an informal gathering of graduate students (and supporters) is held at each conference, as is a dedicated lunchtime to discuss issues of interest and for development. If you are interested in serving on the Graduate Student Committee, please contact the Chair.
A list of Graduate Programs in World History is a valuable link for those considering a higher degree in the field–please click on the link to the right for further information.
The Publication Database for Young Scholars also contains excellent resources for graduate students–see the link to the right.
The WHA Thesis Exchange is an excellent resource to have feedback and peer review–see the link to the right for further information.
Finally, the WHA will have a Best Thesis Prize beginning in 2014–details to follow shortly.
