Assistant Professor – African History
The History Department of the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of African History. All regions and time periods will be considered for research specialties. Teaching responsibilities include upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses in specialty and a two-semester survey of Global History Since 1500, in both online and traditional formats. -Candidates must have the Ph.D. in History or a related field at the start of employment.
-Preference will be given to candidates with previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and MA levels.
