Exhibiting at and/or sponsoring the conference
The WHA's annual conference is made possible by the support of sponsors, affiliate organizations, and exhibitors who contribute to the event financially, through labor and resources, and through participation in our exhibition hall.
Sponsors
We are thrilled to have George Mason University Korea (aka Mason Korea) as a co-sponsor of our 2026 conference. In addition to providing conference space at its Incheon Global Campus and other resources, they will be sponsoring our closing reception and faculty from George Mason University Korea are contributing their time and expertise to conference planning.

OER Project: One of our key goals for our Korea 2026 conference is to increase accessibility to and interaction with World History pedagogy at all levels of education. To that end, we have two dedicated initiatives that we are able to implement this year thanks to a generous grant from the OER Project. We are thrilled to offer free registration to the first 40 K-12 teachers who apply to attend this year’s conference. We look forward to seeing a strong representation of educators in Incheon.

We are working in affiliation with the Academy of Korean Studies to organize excursions in Korea before and after the conference dates as well as other experiences to increase Korean cultural exchange. The Academy of Korean Studies, which operates under the Ministry of Education, was founded in 1978 to revitalize the field of Korean Studies by conducting in-depth research and offering education on related subjects.
