World History Association memberships begin on the day the membership is processed and continues for the term of your membership.

The World History Association welcomes the support of academic departments at the secondary school, college, and university levels along with libraries and independent organizations.   We welcome institutional memberships.

​

With an institutional membership, a primary member registers for the category of membership that best fits their organization or institution.   The primary member will receive paper copies of our biannual publication, Journal of World History.   An additional 1 to 4 members within the department or organization may be part of the institutional membership.   All members will receive digital copies of Journal of World History, World History Bulletin, and World History Connected.

Institutional membership categories (please note: all institutional memberships are 1 year in duration): 

 

• US and Canada department memberships (university rate): $195

• US and Canada department memberships (secondary school, community college, HBCU, or TCU rate): $180

 

• ​Non-US and Canada department memberships (four-year universities): $170

• Non-US and Canada department memberships (not four-year universities): $145

​

• Library or archive:  $195
